Blues and Rhythm and Blues Musician, Independent Record label owner and Record Producer, Bob Geddins, wrote or co-wrote many early hits during the 1950's. He also produced Lowell Fulson, Jimmy McCracklin, Johnny Fuller, Sugar Pie Desanto, Etta James and others. Fela Kuti

Olufela Olusegun Oludotun Ransome-Kuti (15 Oct.1938 – 2 Aug. 1997)


Nigerian, Multi-instrumentalist (Saxophone, Keyboards, Trumpet, Guitar and Drums), Singer, Composer and Pioneer of the Afrobeat genre, Fela Kuti, was a talented musician that crafted the Afrobeat sound. He was beaten,  imprisoned and his mansion burnt for his views against the then Nigerian Government. He remains a vital influence to performers across all music genres. Ruby Wilson (February 29, 1948 – August 12, 2016)


"The Queen of Beale Street", Jazz, Blues and Gospel Singer and Actress, Ruby Wilson, toured as a backing singer for Shirley Ceasar at aged 15 years old. And also performed regularly in Music Clubs  of her era. She eventually got her fist record contract in 1976, after years of performing and went on to release many records and acted in several films.
