Founder of juju Music, Tunde King, was a Nigerian Musicians whose influence has spanned  Artists from the 1940's to the 1980's. Sandi Sheldon ( Kendra Spotswood)

Kendra Spotswood (Born 1945 Englewood, New Jersey)


Soul, R&B and Pop Singer, Kendra Spotswood, recorded many singles, starting in 1963, under various Monikers and also with Van McCoy. After failing to make an impact she retired from the industry in 1968. During the 1970's one of her singles resurfaced and became a Northern Soul Classic in the UK and she has been touring ever since. Isaiah Kehinde Dairo  MBE (1930–1996)


Nigerian Juju Musician (Accordion and Drums), I.K. Dairo, came to prominence in post independent Nigeria with his brand of Juju Music. He worked constantly on tours after his initial fame faded in Nigeria and eventually had a Teaching tenure at the University of Washington.
