Blind John Davis (Dec. 7, 1913 – October 12, 1985)

Blues, Jazz and Boogie Woogie Pianist and Singer, Blind John Davis, lost his sight at aged 9 years old. He accompanied many Artists and released his own efforts. John Arnold Griffin III (April 24, 1928 – July 25, 2008)

Jazz Tenor Saxophonist, Bandleader and Hard Bop Pioneer, "The Little Giant", Johnny Griffins, worked for Atlantic Records on early Rhythm and Blues songs and also had stints with other regarded peers. He recorded critical acclaimed solo efforts featuring John Coltrane, Max Roach and later moved to France in 1960 and then the Netherlands in 1978.
