Miriam Grate and The Dovers, were a 1950's Doo-Wop Group signed to Apollo Records. They recorded regarded material but broke up before scoring major hits. The Group is said to have morphed into the Vocaltones that ended quickly. Alternative Hip Hop MC, Producer and Singer, Del The Funky Homosapien, is the cousin of Ice Cube and has been active since the late 1980's, first writing lyrics for Da Lench Mob and moving on to his solo efforts in 1991. Studio Constructor, Talent Scout, Engineer, A&R, Songwriter, Arranger, Record Producer and Trumpet Player, Henry Glover, was an Executive at the King Label in the late 1940's, constructing their Studio and eventually went on to his own Label. His Production and Songwriting credits stretched across the Country, Blues, R&B, Pop, Rock and Jazz genres and included many Artists (Delmore Brothers, Bull Moose Jackson, Wynonie  Harris, Hank Ballard & The Midnighters, Ray Charles, Little Willie John, James Brown, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Muddy Waters and many others). Big John Greer

John Marshall Greer (November 21, 1923 – May 12, 1972)

Blues Tenor Saxophonist and Vocalist, Big John Greer, began his tenure as a member of Lucky Millinders Band in 1948. His career continued with hits of his own until his bout with alcoholism in the late 1950's. He died at aged 48 years old in 1972. Red Prysock

Wilburt Prysock (February 2, 1926 – July 19, 1993)


Rhythm and Blues Tenor Saxophonist, Red Prysock, was the brother of Arthur Prysock. Although he was influenced by Jazz Great, Coleman Hawkins, his memorable hits and collaborations were all from the Rhythm and Blues genre. He released works as a Bandleader during the 1950's and was prominent on some hits of the era. He was also a part of the US Army during World War ll; he died in 1993.
