Tribute Mondays: Freddy Keppard

Freddie Keppard (February 27, 1889 – July 15, 1933)

"King" in the New Orleans Jazz scene and Cornetist, Freddy Keppard, is largely overlooked and his role in the grassroots of Jazz diminished. The so-called first Jazz recording was a rip off of his work by another band. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Keppard, you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a nice Monday: Messing around and High fever
