The Blossoms
Darlene Love, Fanita James and Jean King
The Blossoms did background vocals on many famous records (The Ronettes - Be my baby, The Crystals - Dee Doo Ron Ron) and scored huge hits, but their major hit was credited to The Crystals by Phil Spector. They worked on TV Programs (Shindig, etc.) With limited recognition and are mostly remembered as backing vocalists. Please take a listen here and have a nice Wednesday: , Sugarbeat (The Playgirls), Write me a letter, Son-in-law, Stoney end and He's a rebel (credited as The Crystals)
