Freddie Mitchell

Freddie Mitchell (April 08, 1918 - June 09,2010)


Blues Pianist, Saxophonist and Clarinetist, Freddie Mitchell, started as a preteen Blues Pianist, before becoming a Saxophonist in his teen years. He worked as a sideman for many Jazz Greats and A&R and Music Director for Derby Records. He faded into obscurity during the 1960's, becoming a Taxi Driver.
