Donaldson Toussaint L'Ouverture Byrd II (Dec. 9, 1932 – Feb. 4, 2013)

Teacher, Trumpeter, Flugelhorn Player and Vocalist, Donald Byrd, was a pioneer in the Funk and Soul Genres and also had a significant impact in Bebop and Hard Bop.
