Memphis Blues Guitarist, Bassist, Harmonica Player, Accordian  Player and Singer/Songwriter, Joe Willie Wilkins, was regarded for playing single string guitar riffs without the use of a slide. He played alongside many (Robert Nighthawk, Elmore James, Houston Stackhouse, Howlim Wolf, etc.). He influenced notables (B.B. King. Albert King, Jimmy Rogers and  others) and played on recordings for Sun Records and Trumpet Records. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Wilkins, you are appreciated.
