George Washington Thomas Jr. (Born 1885, Plum Bayou, Arkansas - Died,  March, 1930, Chicago , Illinois or 1936 Washington, D.C. )


Blues and Jazz Pianist, George W. Thomas, was an excellent Composer and Music Publisher and is regarded by most as the originator of the Boogie Woogie Genre. His daughter, Hociel Thomas and his siblings, Hersal Thomas and Beulah "Sippie" Wallace, were also active in the Blues Genre.
