Alan Dawson (July 14, 1929 – February 23, 1996)


The late Jazz Drummer and highly regarded Percussion Teacher, Alan Dawson, taught at the Berkeley College of Music from 1957 to 1975 and also was a sideman on many projects (Quincy Jones, Charles Mingus, Sonny Rollins, etc. ). Please take a listen here and have a great Saturday: Oleo
