Earl Bostic (April 25, 1912 – October 28, 1965)
Post-war Rhythm and Blues pioneer, Songwriter and Jazz alto Saxophonist, Earl Bostic, worked with most of the Jazz Greats and was a major influence on John Coltrane; he also released regarded solo pieces.
