Jazz Greats: Eddie South

Eddie South (Louisiana, Missouri , November 27, 1904 – April 25, 1962)

Jazz Violinist, Eddie South, was a violin prodigy that turned to the Jazz Genre due to lack of work offered to black musicians of his day. He added Hungarian Folk music and Roma music influences to Jazz and also worked with many Jazz Orchestras. Please take a listen here and have a great Saturday: Black gypsy, LA Rosita, Two guitars (with his Alabamians) and Fiddle Blues
