James Alfred Smith Preston (Augustus's 18, 1913–December 17, 1984)


R&B Bandleader, Alto Saxophonist, Drummer and Singer, Jimmy Preston, was a main force behind early Rock and Roll. He scored a few hits from  1945 to 1952 and then left the industry to become a Reverend; he died in 1984. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Preston, you are appreciated.
