Granville Henry "Stick" McGhee (March 23, 1918 – August 15, 1961)


Jump Blues Guitarist, Singer and Songwriter, Stick McGhee, gained popularity in the industry after his stint in the army during world war II. His songs have being covered by Lionel Hampton, Wynonie Harris, Jerry Lee Lewis and others, though he gained little financially from the original releases. He died from lung cancer in 1961.
