Theophilus Beckford (1935 – 19 February 2001)
Ska Pioneer and Pianist, Theophilus Beckford, helped to craft the Sound of Jamaica's Ska and also worked on many Records in the Calypso, Rhythm and Blues and Reggae Genres (Junior Byles - Fade away ). He died without receiving Writing credit or financial gain from his work in the early years of Jamaica's music.
