Tribute Mondays: Johnny Shines

John Ned "Johnny" Shines (April 26, 1915 – April 20, 1992)

Blues Singer and Pianist, Johnny Shines, left and rejoined the music industry many times before making it big. He was once pulled back into the industry by Robert Johnson, who influenced his guitar playing and took him on tours. After suffering a stroke in 1980 he continued touring close to his death in 1992. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Shines, you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a nice Monday: Too wet to plow,  and Sweet home Chicago
