Varetta Dillard (3 February 1933 – 4 October 1993)
Rhythm and Blues Singer and Music therapist, Varetta Dillard, released many R&B Singles during the 1950's and 1960's, with a few commercial successes. She continued working for various labels until her retirement from music in the early 1960's. She was also active in the Civil Rights Movement and worked as a Music Therapist with chronically ill children.
