Tribute Mondays: Lightnin' Slim

Otis V. Hicks (March 13, 1913 – July 27, 1974)

Louisiana Blues Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist, Lightnin' Slim, is regarded as one of the top five Blues Artist of the mid 20th century. He took an hiatus in the mid 1950's and was rediscovered working in a Foundry during the early 1970's and ended up having a short revival on tours before his death in 1974.
