Jazz Double- Bassist, Bandleader and Composer, Jymie Merritt, is an Electric Bass Pioneer. He has worked in Bands and with numerous Artists (Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Max Romeo and others) and is known for introducing the Electric Bass into Jazz.
