Allan Hope (Born 1952 Rae Town,Kingston, Jamaica)


Poet, Songwriter, Musician, Actor, Educator, Radio Talk Show Host, Mutabaruka (Rwandan Kinyarwanda language translated to English means "One who is always victorious), began his career in the early 1970's after working for the Jamaica Telephone Company (he studied electronics while at school). He was raised an Roman Catholic and changed to the Rastafarian Movement. He also changed his diet and stopped wearing shoes. His works were first published in magazines and he then went on to recording and performing live and scored a number of hits.
