Great R&B Groups: Billy Ward and His Dominoes

Billy Ward and His Dominoes
Billy Ward (born Robert L. Williams, 19 Sept. 1921, Savannah,Georgia—died 16 Feb. 2002, InglewoodCalifornia)

The Group that launched the careers of Jackie Wilson and Clyde McPhatter, are very important to the history of R&B and early Rock and Roll. Their lead singers were most times imitated and the ground work that they laid continues to be the foundation for real R&B today. Please take a listen here and have a good Wednesday: St. Therese of the Roses , Stardust , Have mercy baby , You can't keep a good man down , Do something for me , The Bells , These foolish things remind me of you and Sixty minute man
