Wilbert Baranco

Wilbert Baranco (15 April 1909 – October 1983)

Jazz Pianist and Bandleader, Wilbert Baranco, worked as a Sideman in the 1930's before forming his own Band, continuing into the 1940's. After stints in Military Bands during World War II. He worked with Charles Mingus, Dina Washington, Dizzy Gillespie and others. He died in 1983; please take a listen here and enjoy your weekend: Night and Day, Weeping Willie and Baranco Boogie (1946)
