Carline Ray (born in Manhattan on April 21, 1925 - Died July 18, 2013 )

Jazz Instrumentalists (Guitar and Piano) and Vocalist, Carline Ray, was a member of the International Sweethearts of Rhythm. She studied at Julliard and got her Masters degree at the Manhattan School of Music during the 1950's. Her career involved background work and sideman work alongside her contributions to her initial band the Sweethearts.
