Odean Pope

Odean Pope (born October 24, 1938)

Jazz Tenor Saxophonist, Odean Pope, began his career backing James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder and moved on to a Sideman  and also a Touring Musician with Jimmy McGriff, Max Roach and others. He created the Saxophone Choir band (consisted of nine Saxophonist and Piano, Bass and Drums) during the 1970's. And released some Albums as a Leader beginning in the early 1980's.
