Crystal Waters (Born 1961 / 1962 Deptford, New Jersey, U.S.)
House and Dance Music Singer and Songwriter, Crystal Waters, is regarded as the Queen of House. She was the youngest person to be inducted into the Poetry Society of America at aged 14, but her poetry took a backseat, when she studied Business and Computer Science at Howard University. She worked as a Computer Technician at the Washington D. C. parole board in 1989. Her musical career began with work as a Songwriter and Backup Singer and then she branched out into recording, scoring many hits during the 1990's. She is the Grand Niece of Ethel Waters.
