The Davis Sisters of Philadelphia were a American Gospel Group founded by Ruth "Baby Sis" Davis and also included Gospel star Jackie Verdell. They started out performing in Philadelphia and chose to sing a version of Gospel music that was pioneered by The Dixie Hummingbirds, which is a shouting powerful style of singing.
