The New Light Baptist Church Choir released Organ based Gospel music in the 1960's on their own label, New Light. This label was located in Detroit Michigan. Their only album came out in the 1960's; the Singers are talented but limited compression was used on the super high pitched vocals of the amazing female lead vocalist, Miss Shirley Settles. Reverend Timothy Wright was a Gospel Singer and Pentecostal Pastor. He began playing the piano at aged 12 years old and composed for his church choir during his teenage years. He formed and led the Timothy Wright Concert Choir in the 1970's and went on to release successful albums into the 1990's.
