Lloyd " Tiny" Grimes (July 7, 1916 – March 4, 1989)

Jazz and R&B Guitarist, Tiny Grimes, played the Tenor Guitar (a four stringed electric instrument). He worked in the Cats and the Fiddle and was a fixture in recording sessions during the 1940's; he died in 1989. Bulee "Slim" Gaillard (Jan. 4, 1916 – Feb. 26, 1991)

Slim Gaillard was a Jazz Singer and Songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist (Piano, Guitar, Vibraphone and Tenor Saxophone). He came to fame in the 1930's after forming the duet, Slim and Slam with Eliot "Slam" Stewart. After serving as a bomber pilot during World War ll, he returned to music working with Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and others and also acted in films and television series.
