Grachan Moncur II (born September 2, 1915, Miami, Florida - died November 3, 1996, Miami)


Founding member of The Original Savoy Sultans and Jazz Multi Instrumentalist (Trombone, Tuba and Double Bass), Grachan Moncur ll, worked on radio stations and recorded heavily as a session player for other Artist (Mildred Bailey, Teddy Wilson, Bud Freeman and others). He retired in the 1960's and died in 1996. He was also the father of Grachan Moncur lll.
