After entering Star Search she was signed  to a major Label and went on to score hits in the late 1980's and through the 1990's. He released one Bandleader effort in 1978 and was a Sideman to many (Elvin Jones, Art Blakey, Woody Shaw, Cedar Walton, Clifford Jordan and others).
