String Beans and Sweetie May consisted of Singer, Pianist, Comedian and Vaudeville performer, Butler "String Beans" May and his wife Sweetie May. String Beans was regarded as the first recognizable Blues Star and the Duo helped in the rise and prominence of the Blues genre. They directly inspired Butterbeans and Susie. String Beans was killed accidentally at aged 23 years old. Their most famous song is "Titanic Blues", but there are no available recordings of the Duo; have a nice Wednesday.
