Jazz Drummer, Piano Player, Bandleader, Arranger, Producer and Composer, Ronald Shannon Jackson, was a pioneer of Avant-garde Jazz, Free Funk and Jazz Fusion. He was also a Sideman to Cecil Taylor, Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Charles Mingus and others. His Bandleader efforts and works with The Decoding Society was well received, he died in 2013.
