Shirley M. Gunter (September 29, 1934 – December 1, 2015)


Singer and Songwriter, Shirley Gunter was the leader of the Doo-Wop Group, Shirley Gunter and the Queens, during the 1950's. After a stint in The Flairs and some solo efforts, she developed total blindness in the latter part of the 1950's and left the industry, marrying and raising a family.
