Tribute Mondays: Singing Sammy Ward

James T. Woodley (Dec. 21, 1929 – Nov. 20, 1996)

Rhythm and Blues Singer, Singin' Sammy Ward, worked at Motown Records and its subsidiary, Tamla Records in the early 1960's, after doing the club scene during the 1950's. He left the industry due to limited success, but was rediscovered in the late 1980's and returned to recording and releasing a few Singles.
