Jimmy Cliff, OM (born James Chambers on 1 April 1948)


     
           The Legendary Jimmy Cliff has had a career that stretched across Genres and Occupations; one of the few Reggae Artist to be known equally for his Music as well as his Acting, Cliff was the initial planned face for Reggae Music, but circumstances led to Another Great Act, Bob Marley and The Wailers, taking up that Job. In the Songwriting World he has penned some of the most inspirational Songs; Honourable mentions, Many rivers to cross and Trapped (covered by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band).
