Mabel Bernice Scott (April 30,1915 – July 20, 2000)


Gospel and R&B Vocalist, Mabel Scott, started out in Church before branching out into secular music. She worked in numerous Singing Clubs of the day with Jimmie Lunceford, Wynonie Harris and others and also scored hits of her own. She left the industry and only sang in church for the remainder of her life. Thanks for your contribution Ms. Scott, you are appreciated.
