Collins (June 27, 1910 – June 6, 1978)

Jazz Trumpet Player, Composer and Arranger, Shad Collins, began in the late 1920's and continued into the 1950's. He was a part of Bands led by Chick Webb, Benny Carter, Count Basie, Cab Calloway and others and Composed and Arranged "Rock-A-by Basie.
