Charlie Rouse

Charlie Rouse (April 6, 1924 – November 30, 1988)

Hard Bop Tenor Saxophonist and Flautist, Charlie Rouse, worked with Thelonious Monk for over 10 years. His earlier career were spent in Bands led by Billy Eckstine, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tadd Cameron and others. He also released a run of self led Albums from the late 1950's to 1988, the year of his death.
