Richard Davis (born April 15, 1930)

Jazz Bassist, Richard Davis, are regarded for his Bass playing on projects by Eric Dolphy, Van Morrison, Andrew Hill and others. He was a Sideman to Sarah Vaughan, Booker Irvin,  Dexter Gordon and others. He began his long run during the 1940's and still remains active as a Professor (Bass, Jazz, History and Inprovision) at the University of Wisconsin Madison and performing.
