Fred Wesley (born July 4, 1943)

Jazz and Funk Trombonist, Fred Wesley, is mostly regarded for his work with James Brown and Parliament - Funkadelic in the 1970's. His career began in the 1960's, but his true contribution to Jazz began in 1988. He has played with and arranged for many (Ray Charles, Lionel Hampton, Cameo and others). He worked as an Educator and remains active recording and touring.
