Bessie Brown (1890–1955)

Classic female Blues, Jazz and Cabaret Singer, "The Original" Bessie Brown, recorded between 1925 and 1929 and released songs under different names (Sadie Green, Caroline Lee and Helen Richards). She began in Vaudeville and continued into Cabaret, touring and Recording. Her works were re-released in the 1990's.
