Jazz Greats: Fletcher Henderson

James Fletcher Hamilton Henderson, Jr. (December 18, 1897 – December 29, 1952) 


     One of the Main Developers in Big Band Jazz and Swing Music, Fletcher Henderson, was influential in the careers of Lou Armstrong and Ethel Waters to name a few. He helped to formulate the sound of the Swing Genre and is a overall contributor to music.
