R&B Singer and Pianist, Big Maybelle, was known as America's Queen Mother of Soul, she's widely remembered for her recording of the Quincy Jones Produced "Whole lotta shaking going on" which was done two years before Jerry Lee Lewis' version. Her contribution to modern music is mostly understated; thank you for your contribution Miss Smith, you are appreciated. Please take a listen here and have a Great Monday: Whole lotta shaking going on , Gabbin' Blues , Way back home , My country man , 96 tears and Candy
