Winston Jarrett was taught how to play the Guitar by Jimmy Cliff and Alton Ellis. He got his start working in Ellis' Backing Vocal Band and eventually moving on to form The Righteous Flames that worked with various Producers in the 1960's and 1970's. His solo work included self produced material that increased his presence.
