Tribute Mondays: Howard Armstrong

Howard "Louie Bluie" Armstrong (March 4, 1909 – July 30, 2003)


Country Blues, Vocalist, Fiddler, Mandolin Player, Guitarist, Visual Artist and Raconteur (Storyteller), Howard Armstrong, toured in medicine shows in the 1930's and recorded in the Trio Martin, Bogan and Armstrong. He was absent from the music industry after his service in World War II, but returned in 1971 and continued working into the 1990's. Thanks for your contribution Mr. Armstrong, you are appreciated.
