Howard William "Swan" Johnson (January 1, 1908 – December 28, 1991)

Swing Alto Saxophonist, Howard E. Johnson, worked as a sideman in the Jazz Genre working with Jazz giants (Benny Carter, Don Redman, Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Webb, etc.). But he's mostly regarded as a Swing Artist. His career lasted for over 50 years, ending in the 1980's; he died in 1991.
