George Lewis (Trombonist)

George Emanuel Lewis (born July 14, 1952)

Composer, Electronic Performer, Installation Artist, Trombone Player and Scholar in the fields of improvisation and experimental music, George Lewis, is a Pioneer of Computer music. He has recorded and performed with many and his also a member of a few Orchestras. He released his debut Album in 1976 and released his last in 2014. He is a the Professor of American Music at Columbia University and taught at the University of California.
