Rodney Franklin (born Sept.16, 1958, Berkeley , California, US

Jazz Pianist and Composer, Rodney Franklin, was a Sideman to Freddie Hubbard, Marlene Shaw and others. He went on to a successful solo career that included the 1980 hit, The Groove, which created the UK Dance "The Freeze". He has recorded and released 10 Albums, his last being in 1992.
