Singer, Guitarist and Songwriter, Tarheel Slim worked in The Larks and then went on to record with his wife, Ann Lee "Little Ann" Sandford. He was also featured in the Selah Jubilee Singers. He and his wife released some successful sides under the name The Lovers and then faded. Tarheel Slim died in 1977; there is limited info about his wife.
